Chalet Rhaetia
Chalet Rhaetia was built in 2003 in wood in the traditional style as a family holiday home for the owner, not a commercial let. It is therefore equipped to a much higher standard than ordinary self-catering accommodation.
It has been awarded a “Four Star Luxury” rating by the local Tourist Board.
It can accommodate 8 to 10 people, and everything about it has been finished to the highest specification. From the large and highly equipped kitchen to luxury furnishings and Swiss antiques. Modern bathrooms and showers, even a private sauna!
It is just a few minutes’ walk from a bubble car to a large ski area with T bars and chairlifts, a ski hire shop and ski school, as well as a food shop and many restaurants.

Spring

Vast meadows and pine forests turn bright green quickly and the meadows fill with flowers. Spectacular waterfalls cascade with snow and ice meltwater.

Walking in meadows carpeted with wild flowers. Walk for the day and take a picnic to have in the outdoors. Mountains are unfenced and accessible by law Hot days by a lake and enjoy a swim. Pools with waterslides and other activities for kids in Klosters and Davos. Swiss village summer festivals.

Autumn

Autumn blaze of orange and red. Walking and trekking, often still with weeks of bright sunshine. Cows brought down from mountain pastures with accompanying festivities. Local shoots welcoming visitors.

Winter

Skiing. Some of the best skiing in the world. Vast areas, often open by mid-November. Ice hockey rink in Davos, skating and curling in Klosters and Davos. Winter walks in the forests. Mountains even for non-skiers with cable car. Swimming outdoors in a heated pool with snow piled high on each side!
