Trullo Alto
Trullo Alto is the bigger of the two trulli and Trullo Olivo is next door. Both trulli are fully air conditioned throughout and have heating if needed for Spring and Autumn nights and with full wifi.
The trullo marries traditional Italian country living with the comfort and luxury to make your stay enjoyable and restful. Facilities include wifi as well as a comprehensive set of modern kitchen equipment, indoor and outdoor dining possibilities and a traditional Puglian stone-built Barb-b-q.
Each trullo has its own driveway entrance, parking and large patio area with steps down the shared pool so there is total privacy and two metre thick walls make sure there is no noise interference! The swimming pool (see later) is exclusive to the two trulli, so it is practically your own private pool. It is shared between them, A fun way to visit the area is to go with friends, maybe another family, two couples or just a larger group. As the trulli are next door to each other it is easy for a group of ten to share the holiday together, for example around the pool or on either of the large patios for outside dining and still have the right amount of privacy.
Each trullo has a full equipped kitchen with microwave and kettle as well as modern oven and grill and, of course, a dishwasher. The kitchens are equipped to a high standard
Bathrooms are modern, with showers, of course. Bath towels are provided and we have separate towels for the pool and beach so that you always have clean linen for the trullo.
There is TV (with DVD), full wifi and air-conditioning throughout in each trullo.
The Barb-B-Qs are no ordinary design. They are hand-built stone built to a traditional Puglian design – an example of our attention to detail throughout.

The Living AreaAlso known as “The Great Cave”, this is the largest original chamber where olive oil was stored. Seating for 5 with TV and hi fi and indoor dining.

The KitchenUnusually for our properties we had to put the kitchen in the same area as the living area to keep the integrity of the building, but we still managed to provide all modern facilities and full equipment.

The Master BedroomA large double bedroom complete with original exposed stone wall along one side, with a view over olive trees on the terrace and beyond. The handmade wooden windows have insect protection. A/c and heating in the room.

The En-Suite BathroomOne of the most unusual bathrooms you will ever find – an original pizza oven trullo tower is over it!

Bedroom No 2A second large bedroom with vaulted ceiling, can be twin or double.

Bedroom No 3A smaller bedroom, usually arranged as a single, although can just take two children, and there is a spare bed.

Bathroom No 2Shared between Bedrooms 2 and 3. Modern, of course, with a shower for the bath.

The Outdoor Dining AreaA large shaded terrace with spectacular views and a handmade Puglian stone table and Barb-b-q.

The PoolThe pool is larger than average, at a full 10m x5m. shallow at one end for children, the pool slopes to a deep end of 2m. It is cleaned twice a week. There is also solar heating for the Spring and Autumn that on average heats the water to 5C more than would normally be the case. The pool is fenced and walled in compliance with EU safety regulations. It may be floodlight at night.
The pool is shared with Trullo Olivo.
